Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Achievements

Lunar Looter

Looted 10 Moonstone Chests.

Moonstone chests are just loot chests but they require 40 Moonstone to unlock and reveal the goodies within. Loot 10 such Moonstone chests and the achievement is yours.

When you find one such chest you can open it, save and quit, then re-open the same one, which will save you from having to find 10 unique chests. If you happen to have 400 Moonstone you can get this achievement relatively quickly on the same chest.

A good chest to boost for this can be found at the end of 'Titan Robot Production Plant' where you defeat 'Rampant Felicity' during the mission 'Let's Build A Robot Army'. When you fast travel to the area it will only take you a few minutes to run to the opposite end of the map. At the back of the room where you fight Rampant Felicity there are 2 shutters that open after you defeat her, one has a fast travel behind it, the other has the Moonstone chest. Run to it, open it, save and quit, then repeat until the achievement unlocks.

See the thread linked in the achievement “Moxxi’s Sampler” for a glitch on how to get infinite moonstones.

They do vary. i found one for 20 and another for 45. My guess is they produce random like regular loot chests but the amount obvious means the higher the price the rarer the items inside. The 45 ms chest gave me two purple weapons

I can confirm that you don't need to actually loot the contents of the Moonstone chests.

Can someone say that if you get a certain number in normal mode, and then the rest in True Vault Hunter, will the achievement unlock? Or does it have to all be in one mode?

If you are looking for moonstones iwojira is a great enemy to farm them from. You get around 30+ each time you kill him.

Are there 10 separate chests or can you loot the same one 10 times?

Titan Robot Production Plant, very straight through. If you have IVF, just throw these as grenade Rampant, corrosive element works best. Stock your SMG ammo near to Rampant entrance. Took me like 10 min to grind.

Any other Tediore weapon my work as well. Shoot and reload to throw weapon as grenade and it will do awesome damage on Rampant to take it out in seconds.
