In the first game it was all other achievements to unlock BFA. Probally a fairly good chance this is the same.

I really wanted 1000G on Darksiders, but it became to much of a hazzle and other games started to pile up... :(

I'm just disappointed that it's worth less than in the first game.

I just hope it's not like the last game where there were missable unlocks within that puzzle-ridden castle towards the end of the game

Bah. Only achievements I was missing in Darksiders 1 were BFA and Aerial Predator. ook me something like 25 tries to get that one, but as soon as it did, BOOM. BFA.

Any idea what it stands for?

Getting 1000 before the DLC is out doesn't look to be a hassle at all. There doesn't look like there are any missable achievements this time around either, and none of these sound close to being like that damn Aerial Predator one.

Does this include the Crucible? Rented this for now, gonna buy it when it's cheaper for DLC and stuff, but I already have the Crucible completion achievement, defeating Wicked K and the "send something to a friend" achievement I can't complete until I buy the game. The only other achievements I have left are hitting level 30 and beating the game on Apocalyptic, both of which'll be done soon.

Ah, so it is the PS3 platinum trophy, in that it doesn't so much mean everything in the game as all other achievements. And anyone who didn't 1000g the first game is just silly, was awesome, fun and very easy.

This is now unachievable with the gifting achievement broken. :(

Thanks for the broken game and the memories THQ. You could have at least patched your game to allow a person to complete it before running out with your auction money.

Whoever owns this IP now (and is getting money for digital sales and DLC) should be forced to fix the server. Patch the game to automatically unlock the "Pay it Forward" achievement or Microsoft should force them to pull the game and DLC from Xbox Live.

PS: Someone should really update the achievement guide to point out that this game is now imposable to 1000 / 1000.

21 hours into a playthrough. 14 side quests completed. All 40 Book of the Dead pages found. 66 out of 69 stones collected. 29 out of 30 relics located. 2 rooms away from confronting Samael. Then, while simply walking down a corridor, the game crashes and permanently corrupts the save. I think I’ve finally learned my lesson not to waste my time on crap games from 3rd rate developers, especially ones that go out of business right after a release. In over 20 years of game playing, I’ve never had major stability problems with top tier games or at least not after a patch or two within weeks of coming out.

I already had formed a strong distaste for the game with its tedious platforming, repetitive combat, sluggish controls constantly out of synch with the careening camera, and the derivative

I already had formed a strong distaste for the game with its tedious platforming, repetitive combat, sluggish controls constantly out of synch with the careening camera, and the derivative aping of the Zelda series but wiping out the player's entire history in one glitch is unforgivable.
