Introduction:
ExZeus 2 is a 3D mech styled on rails shooter available for both Windows Phone and Windows, offering 200 in each. The game is not cross play, so achievements do not sync between systems. Set in the year 2217, you’ll never guess what?! Aliens! You and your mech fighter, Minos, will play through levels, shooting bad guys and bosses to save the world from the intergalactic threat. The game has some RPG elements, with experience points used to upgrade and customize your robot, and the enemies and bosses are quite nicely designed. However, the controls take a lot of getting used too, especially the touch controls on the Windows phone. However, on Windows you can use a wired controller which makes things a lot easier if you are playing that version.

Note:Made Top of Leaderboard” can be complicated to unlock and it is advised to go for this first. See the guide below for more details.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
The difficulties do not stack, so you will need to play through the game three times, once on each difficulty. Your upgrades carry on through once you have finished the story mode however, so you will start your next playthrough with all of your upgrades saved. Play through on Normal first, which may be a little tough as your mech is weak, but by the time you start your second game on Hard, you will be upgraded so it will be easier. By the time you start your final playthrough on Fury, you should fly through the levels as you will be way overpowered. You can start on Hard, as there are no achievements related to Normal, but you won’t get very far without the upgrades gained from completing the game on that difficulty. There are eleven story related achievements for 110, and you will most likely get most of the miscellaneous achievements on the way there.

Mop-Up:
You may still need the point related achievements. For this you will want to play through on Fury mode, killing everything and destroying as much as you can. The scores are cumulative, so just keep playing through until they unlock.

Conclusion:
Exzeus 2 is a fairly simple completion, made annoying by the leaderboard achievements. The game itself is okay, but very linear. Make by Japanese devs, home of the mechwarrior game, this ticks all mech boxes but doesn’t offer much up as far as anything else goes.

Made Leaderboard5
Received a score high enough to make the Leaderboard

This will probably unlock after your first game over, as long as online leaderboards are set to "On." You won't need much, even the score from just completing the first part of the first level on Normal should get you on it.

Made Top of Leaderboard20
Received a score high enough to make the top of the Leaderboard

This achievement is a pain, and should be worked on before you do anything else in the game, for reasons that will become clear below. You need to ensure the online leaderboards are set to “On”. The description doesn’t explain the requirements very well at all, what you actually need to be is top of the online leaderboard, above all of your friends. The scores have to be fresh scores, too, so no going back to levels and doing them again. However, you can’t just land there, you have to be second (or lower) first, and overtake a friend.

You will need a willing friend who has the game and not really played it, or a dummy account on Windows (see THIS link for how to do this without having to buy the game again).

Follow the steps below on how to do this.

1. Start the game with your main account, getting a relatively low score on the first level (10-15k), then let yourself die. This should put you in first.

2. Start the game with your second account (or liaise with your friend) and wait until you see your main account’s score on the leaderboards. One you see this, start the game and score more than your main account, before letting yourself die. This should put your dummy account or friend in first.

3. Do the same with your main account, then outscore your dummy/friend, putting you in first position.

4. Finish the level, and your leaderboard achievement should unlock.

This can be done later on, but if you are trying to do this once you have already played through the game as the scores carry on through the levels, so you may have to play through the whole game a few times for this.

2 million points received15
Received a score of 2 million points or more

Unlike the Windows Phone version, the score related achievements on the Windows version are cumulative, so you just need to play the game over and over until you manage to earn a total of 2 million points. Make sure online leaderboards are set to "On" so your score registers to the leaderboards. Playing casually on Fury difficulty, this will probably take a few run throughs, although a perfect run can get you there in a single run.

1.5 million points received5
Received a score of 1.5 million points or more

Refer to “Received a score of 2 million points or more” for more information.

Warlord10
Your Ranking was changed to "Warlord"

Story related, cannot be missed.

Refer to “God” for more information.

God20
Your Ranking was changed to "God"

Story related, cannot be missed.

While playing through the game, you will be given titles based on the experience you earn. The final title is God, and you should get this around halfway through your second playthrough.

Minus Fully Upgraded5
Purchased level 4 of the Shield, Gun, and Engine upgrades

You will get this while playing through the story three times. You receive gold at the end of missions that can be spent on upgrades, and should have enough gold for everything by the time you start Fury difficulty.

65% Hit Accuracy10
Completed any level with a 65% accuracy rating or higher

Refer to “85% Hit Accuracy” for more information.

75% Hit Accuracy15
Completed any level with a 75% accuracy rating or higher

Refer to “85% Hit Accuracy” for more information.

85% Hit Accuracy20
Completed any level with a 85% accuracy rating or higher

You can get this really easily on any of the deep space missions where you are flying top down through space. Shoot only using the targeting system, and only shoot when locked on. As long as you are careful and don’t waste any shots you should hit at least 90%.
