Reach 50 fares in Taxi Mode

Sadly there is no easy way to skip through this – every city is the same in terms of distance. If you want, you can wait until Las Venturas is open, since it is the most relatively flat of the three to complete. Simply enter any taxi by jacking it and click to activate. Then get your 50 fares. You donot have to complete all 50 in one sitting. Completing this mission set will automatically give all taxis you enter hydraulics and nitrous.

You do NOT have to do 50 consecutive fares. It makes you considerably more money, but you can do three or four runs here and there if you're killing time until a certain mission is available.

I used the Cabbie primarily, but either works (and by the time you've a decent combo going you'll be able to pop in to the Pay 'n' Spray to repair a battered car). Easy enough achievement, albeit time consuming.

Do this right after your first mission, this way you will only stay in one area and you won't have to do cross country fares. Besides you get some easy money to start on.

This was pretty dull but at least the radio was entertaining. I did this very early in the game so that the area was limited to just Los Santos. Pretty poor source of money though until around 40 consecutive drop-offs.

I recommend waiting until Las Venturas is unlocked because you have wide straight roads and no hills, unlike Los Santos and San Fierro.

Very boring side-mission. It was 100 in GTA III...even more boring.

Do this right near the beginning of the game, So all the fares are only in Los Santos, its very boring and time consuming, but shouldn't take more than 40 minutes.

Great... wish I would have read your tips earlier. Hope doing this in Las Venturas will keep me to that area.
