They're adding Terminals in now?
What purpose did they serve?

Hopefully they have like a mini side-story

Also surprised there isn't any reference to when you get all of them in Halo 3 'Marathon Man'.

Okay, don't worry.
Just read the Post about Hidden Easter Eggs. The Terminals do serve a side-story.
Nice :)

Can't wait to see what background these will provide towards Halo 4. I wonder if those Dyson Spheres will be mentioned in them...

Easy. First one is on a computer on the bridge of PoA. This was confirmed by Chad Armstrong and it is visible in the cinematic.

The terminal on the level ( Keyes ) is about the good ol captain trying to resist becoming a gravemind !

When on the pillar of autumn it's a computer ! That's for level 1 and most likely the maw too ( but I havent found that one yet )
If you're on the truth and reconciliation both times you're looking for a pulsing purple light !
When on halo ( so all other levels ) you're looking for a pulsing yellow light !
Hope this helps when you start looking coz there still annoying to find :)

the second level, Halo, the terminal is inside the tunnel when you first get a warthog, take the second left and go underneath the first left ( the one with the jump) and its in a gap on your right

Anybody know if you have to watch the whole video for the terminal to count like in Halo 3 or can you just activate it and go?

As a bonus, once you've found all the terminals and entered their glyph codes on Halo Waypoint (360 only unfortunately), you will receive 7,000 Reach credits per code and an extra 30,000 when you've done all 10. I played Halo Anniversary first and skipped to almost Warrant Officer Grade 2 when I started Reach.
