Manual Master

Performed 15 manuals in one combo in School II with Rodney Mullen
  1. Use Rodney Mullen
  2. Unlock School II
  3. Max his Manual Balance
  4. No Cheats!

Now you'll have to just a 15 manual combo in place to unlock this achievement. You can start off and do the first 5-6 without even checking your balance. However, after that, you will need to start adjusting more and more often, and it'll become harder and harder. Just make sure to always jump into your next manual when the character is completely levelled out, and with a little bit of time and luck you'll get it.

Also, when going from manual 14 to 15, try to make it so that the bar is travelling towards the green side when you jump, so that when you land the 15th manual, it will automatically land the trick for you.

Note: You can get this achievement by using Rodney Mullen in an online match, and therefore not needing to progress in Career Mode.

@1 don't get me wrong Rodney is completely sick, and the most innovative and legendary skater for sure, for inventing most of the flip tricks done today. but i dunno, when you see what the top street skaters are doing these days, and all the crazy shit people like Danny Way have done with mega-ramps and stuff, they are pushing the boundaries of skating just as much a Rodney did inventing all the flip tricks in the 80s. have you ever seen Kilian Martin?!

I thought you unlocked officer Dick by completing with every character, or was that spiderman. So long ago, you would think i would remember considering how many countless hours went into this game...

hoping you can set your own moves....

I am having the hardest time with this. Anyone have any tips other than maxing out Manual Balance?

@4 Personally I'd max out grind balance also, that way everytime you switch from manual to grind and back you won't lose as much balance, as it decreases during combos. So the longer you can balance the more you can get out of your combo.

Just done this achievement, better get your trigger-happy thumbs working. Basically tap A and keep going up and down on the left D-pad as fast as you can, sometimes the trick won't even register but just keep at it. Eventually you should see x16. Land it, achievement done :D

Maybe a glitch, but it just popped for me after only reading x5. I probably did a lot that didn't register for scoring because it was too quick. Do what #7 said and just mash A and push up and down between jumps. Score may not register, but that didn't seem to matter for me

If you do the tricks very fast and the combo counter isn't going up you can still get this achievment I did it with a x6 combo but we had a heep of jump manuals without a score. I think we may have been up to 20 or so combo with out some of them regeresting

hope this helps someone

Just got it. I'd recommend building your ollie and switch up a little from the start (they don't need to be max) and maxing out the last two bars on the manual, but I wouldn't mess with the air or hang time or speed. From there, just make sure you're not moving too quickly (but not at a dead stop either). Use only one type of manual (I did standard) as it's easier to even yourself out. Do kickflips or heelflips between manuals and do subtle evening out taps to your manuals every other manual. That way you can see if you're starting to get too green or red on the ones you aren't touching. Rack them up until you see the combo hit x31 and then land it.
