Tomorrow will see Sam Fisher returning to the Ghost Recon series in the new 'Deep State' adventure for Ghost Recon Breakpoint, seeing Michael Ironside reprise his role once more as Splinter Cell's stealthy agent with the iconic green multi-vision goggles. The DLC will have ten new themed rewards to earn.

Deep State marks the beginning of Episode 2 in Breakpoint, arriving alongside Title Update 2.0, which adds the new Ghost Experience (a new mode that offers customisable "immersive and tactical options to players") for free, and a smattering of other major additions. These include two new classes for PvE and PvP, with one-week early access for Year One Pass owners; 4 new PvP maps; and a map voting option.

The two new classes are the Echelon class, with a focus on stealth; and the Engineer class with grenade launcher efficiency, the Defense Drone special ability, and the Supply Drone that provides allies with an extra magazine of buffed ammo. The Echelon class is able to move silently, take down enemies quietly, and use Sonar Vision to detect enemies through walls and disturb drones.

As for the 'Deep State' Episode 2 adventure itself, this will comprise eight narrative-driven missions in which you'll join forces with Sam Fisher to uncover a nefarious plot to develop new mind-controlled military drones. Using stealthy tactics, you'll need to put a stop to the drone's development on Auroa and save the day or something.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Episode 2 will begin with the paid Deep State adventure from 24th March on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, with the Ghost Experience (get more info on that here) and Title Update 2.0 (full patch notes here) due to roll out at the same time. Deep State will be available as part of the Year One Pass or for standalone purchase, while all players will have access to the first mission and its first two rewards for free.

A Ghost Recon Breakpoint Free Weekend is also due to go live from 26th March until 29th March.
