Disintegration, the tactical first-person sci-fi shooter from 30-person indie team V1 Interactive (the studio formed by Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto), will be releasing this June. Set in a world plagued by famine with depleted resources, Disintegration has you playing as skilled Gravcycle pilot Romer Shoal, commanding a band of outlaws fighting back against the forces of Rayonne.

The game's single-player campaign will see you controlling a fully-loaded Gravcycle, leading Romer and his crew across a variety of action-packed missions. "I've always been a gameplay-driven storyteller, and with Disintegration, I wanted to create a compelling narrative built around mechanics that haven’t been done before,” said Lehto. "It’s in my DNA to create memorable characters and rich worlds that go beyond a standard FPS experience."

Disintegration blends RTS mechanics with first-person shooter gameplay, V1's game also features a fast-paced PvP multiplayer mode in which pilots and their crews go toe-to-toe across three game modes on six diverse maps. Each 'Crew' has its own playstyle, look, and combat approach to get to grips with, while a range of cosmetic customisation options can be unlocked in-game.

Digital pre-orders for Disintegration are live now on the Xbox Store for $49.99/£39.99, and the game will be heading to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on 16th June 2020. Pre-ordering will grant access to multiplayer DLC, including the Lost Ronin Midnight crew skin, Flex emote, Disintegration Medal Gravcycle attachment, and animated player banner.
