Codemasters has released a new trailer for DiRT 5's Career Mode, as well as confirming an October release date for the upcoming off-road racing sequel. Featuring more than 130 events across nine race types and Throwdown challenges, DiRT 5's Career Mode will also feature Troy Baker as your race mentor, and Nolan North as your racing rival.

And that's why the new Career Mode trailer features narration from both Baker and North, the duo heavily involved in the rise of your racing hopeful in a global racing event that brings together the best off-road racing talent. As superstar racer Alex ‘AJ’ Janicek, Baker will help you on your way, while North's veteran racer and antagonist Bruno Durand will be striving to bring you down a peg.

Caught up in AJ and Bruno's rivalry, you'll mark out your own path as an up-and-comer, rubbing shoulders with some of the "biggest names" from gaming and motorsport culture. Career Mode will unfold across five chapters, in which you'll earn Stamps to unlock a Main Event at the end of each chapter, as well as 1v1 Throwdown challenges against fierce competitors.

DiRT 5 will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on 9th October 2020, before arriving for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 at a later, undisclosed date. Check out the trailer for Career Mode below, which will also feature local couch co-op support for up to four players, replacing AI-controlled teammates.
