EA Motive has revealed more details on Star Wars: Squadrons during its EA Play Live 2020 thingy, showcasing the game's Dogfight Mode, signature multi-stage conflict Fleet Battles mode, starfighter classes, single-player story and more in a debut gameplay trailer.

In Squadrons' single-player, you'll start by creating your own New Republic Rebel and Imperial pilots, before flitting between each of their perspectives in a post-Return of the Jedi, Death Star II has gone boom narrative, in which the Galactic Civil War is still going on.

The game's 5v5 multiplayer will present you with customisable starfighters with Fighter, Interceptor, Support, and Bomber classes to choose from, all with a variety of components for "dramatically" different loadouts, including stuff like tractor beams, deployable turrets, mines, and so on.

Star Wars: Squadrons will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on 2nd October 2020 with full cross-play support. Check out the gameplay trailer below.
