Ghost Recon Breakpoint is Adding AI Teammates

Written By

Ubisoft will be adding a squad of AI teammates to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint in the game's July update, introducing new ways for fans to play the game solo.

Fury, Fixit and Vasily are your new computer-controlled teammates, and the trio can be completely customised, and are able to be activated or deactivated at any time during a solo session as soon as you've left Erewhon for the first time. After downloading the 2.1.0 update on 15th July, players will be introduced to the team with an in-game tutorial running through the process of giving out orders. The update also brings back some functionality from AI teammates in Ghost Recon Wildlands, such as Sync Shots.

"We are very happy to release AI Teammates, and we know that expectations are high," stated Game Director Elie Benhamou. "We did our best to include them into the game and world of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, focusing our efforts on enhancing the combat experience, as well as bringing a whole new layer of customization for your role-play activities!"

This week also sees a new Live Event taking place in Breakpoint, with "Resistance" kicking off on 16th July. Completing missions for The Outcasts against Sentinel will impact the in-game world and rewards players with 14 exclusive items.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint is out now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
