Wales Interactive and developer FMV Future have announced Gamer Girl, the publisher's latest FMV thriller, which this time around features an entirely improvised, multi-branching narrative, set within the world of online streaming. Due to launch in September, Gamer Girl casts you as up and coming streamer 'Abicake99', who returns online after the mysterious disappearance of her friend Becky.

As moderator, you'll monitor the game's real-time chat simulation, levelling up mod powers, choosing who to ban, and guiding Abi's choices as she gradually uncovers the threat from an anonymous predator lurking in the live stream's chat. This is the first FMV game of its type to include this sort of micro-management meta game, as you're tasked with increasing Abicake99's viewership, managing her mood, and moderating her chat channel.

Should you fail to fulfill your role as chat mod, you'll be kicked from the stream by Abi, and you'll be hit with a Game Over screen. Gamer Girl is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in September, from the writer and director of The Bunker, starring Alexandra Burton as Abi, alongside David Wayman, Rebecca Calienda, and Sofia Maffei. The game will also include cameos from real streamers including CyborgAngel.
