Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will gain access to the 100+ library of Xbox Game Pass titles to stream via xCloud from next month. Initially, Project xCloud access will roll out to 22 markets including preview regions North America, Europe, and South Korea, enabling users to play Xbox Game Pass titles on Android phones and tablets, at no additional cost.

Project xCloud games will include Minecraft Dungeons, Destiny 2, Tell Me Why, Gears 5, Sea of Thieves, Wasteland 3, Yakuza Kiwami 2, The Outer Worlds, and Forza Horizon 4, among others, with first-party Xbox Game Studios titles to be made available to stream using xCloud from day one. The service has been designed to work with low bandwidths, too, requiring minimum 10Mbps wi-fi or LTE mobile connection.

"As the world around us changes and entertainment is readily available no matter the device, it’s our vision to make games accessible in a variety of scenarios," the announcement on Xbox Wire reads. "All the experiences you expect on Xbox and your gaming profile travel with you on mobile, including your friends list, achievements, controller settings, and saved game progress."

Project xCloud access will be available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States from 15th September 2020.

Microsoft is also creating all-new peripherals and mobile accessories with Razer, PowerA, 8BitDo, and Nacon to support cloud gaming, including phone clips and travel controllers that fit in a bag (pictured below), while you can play with an Xbox One Bluetooth wireless contoller of PS4 DualShock 4 controller. The xCloud preview will continue to be available until 11th September.
